Boiler house
The heating system covers 4 boiler houses of which the biggest is equipped with 2 coal boilers WR-25 and 3 coal boilers WR-10. Total capacity of this hp is 93MW and the total capacity of the system is 118,9MW.

The grid in Tarnowskie Góry is 4,7km long with a volume of 1086m3.

Efficiency
The actual production efficiency in MPEC Tarnowskie Góry is 63% and sales efficiency is 58%. Due to the system modernization and automation started in 2004, both ratios will be significantly increased. The first part of the project is to modernize Wr-10 and WR-25 boilers and to set up a central control system.
